No, you must wait 6 months after your last session according to Canadian Blood Services. You must tell the clinic you have had permanent cosmetics and when you had your last procedure completed so they are aware.
Yes! We just ask you have it done no sooner than 2 weeks prior to your procedure or wait until 2 weeks after your procedure. This is to ensure that the Botox is completely settled in prior to your appointment so there will be no shifting in the placement of your brows.
You must be 18 years or older to receive permanent cosmetics at Flawless Finish.
Immediately following a procedure there can be redness or tenderness that lasts a few hours to a few days. Eyebrows tend to swell less than eyes and lips, there may also be minor bruising with lip procedures. The colour looks much darker immediately afterward for any procedure, it will begin to lighten within 7-10 days and will continue to lighten over several weeks. During the first week proper aftercare must be followed for optimal results. Most people are amazed at how “normal” they look immediately after and do not feel it is necessary to take any time off work.
The appointment for all initial procedures in any eyebrow technique (Microblading, powdered ombre, combination of both techniques) usually takes 2 hours. Eyelash Enhancement Tattooing generally takes 1.5 hours and lip tattooing 2.5 to 3 hours. This time includes the pre-consult, going through a waiver, design/shaping of the area being worked and the actual procedure.
Eyebrows generally need a touch up anywhere from 6 to 18 months depending on skin type and lifestyle. Lips and Eyelash Enhancement Liner tend to need touching up every 2 to 5 years, again depending on skin type and lifestyle. Some factors that cause touchups to be more frequent include but are not limited to pigment colour chosen (lighter colours fade quicker), Iron Deficiency, Sun exposure, any treatments that come into contact with the treated area and cause skin resurfacing/ skin cells to turn over quicker (lasers, peels, etc.)
Microblading is the artistic technique of tattooing individual hair strokes with a handheld tool called a microblade. Unlike traditional tattooing, which uses a machine, microblading artists hand draw each hair to match the color and coarseness of your eyebrows. The result? Gorgeous, natural looking eyebrows.
No, we incorporate as much of your natural hairs into the brow design as possible. Any hairs that fall outside of the brow design boundaries will be removed.
Microbladed/ Hairstroke eyebrows are tattooing individual, angled hair like strokes that mimic your natural hair growth to achieve the most natural looking eyebrows. Powdered ombre eyebrows look like powdered eyebrows that are lighter in the front and will gradually get darker towards the tail. We can also combine both techniques.
